Hope For Amanda

Amanda's family and friends have contributed 450 of their favorite recipes for the "Recipes from the Heart" cookbook.  The proceeds for this book are assisting with the payment of medications, which are not available in the United States and are not covered by insurance.  Your support will help provide Amanda the opportunity for the best possible quality of life.

Donations and the proceeds from the cookbook have helped pay for the following items for Amanda:

                1) Stiripentol, drug from France which is not covered  by insurance

                2) Clobazam, drug from Canada which is not covered by insurance

                3) Amanda's protective helmet

                4) Cooling Vest to help Amanda keep cool when in an environment warmer than 68

                5) Bed Seizure Alarm to help alert us if Amanda has a seizure during naps

                6) Video Camera so we can monitor Amanda while she naps

                7) Physical Therapy

                8) Speech Therapy
